This clinic operates Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays from 0730
to 1530 hrs on the 5th floor at the Scollard Site.
We provide services for outpatients and inpatients. Staff are on call on weekends
for emergency procedures.
A visual inspection is done of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tracts
by means of an endoscope. Biopsies may be done during the procedure. Other procedures
such as esophageal dilatation, banding, insertion of PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) tubes may be done in
this clinic. ERCP's (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography) are done as required.
